Tipped Minimum Wage

A lower minimum wage floor for workers who regularly receive tips, with employers required to make up the difference if tips fall short.

The US federal tipped minimum is $2.13/hour. Seven states (AK, CA, MN, MT, NV, OR, WA) require full state minimum before tips. Most other wealthy countries don't distinguish tipped wages.
